What's 27,000 miles
Nick and I spent a nice Saturday night in Syracuse with our friends, Al and Liz. Thai food, mall, and an Oscar nominated movie what else do you need? The big topic of discussion this weekend was if Al should buy a car with 105,000 miles on it. Everything about the car sounded like it was a good buy, except for one detail, the last owner managed to put 27,000 miles on it in the last nine months. How does an individual person do this? Wouldn't it be nice to call up the previous owner and ask, where were you going that would add up to an average of 3,000 miles per month?

I expect better grammar from someone of your education. Also, did I read that right? You guys thought it was a good idea for him to buy a high-mileage luxury sedan that he would probably have to repair continuously and replace in a couple of years?
ReplyDelete@ The Wood, oops definitely did not proof read before hitting the submit button. And I did not encourage Al to make this purchase for the same reason you stated.
